117. Upon proof that a person duly summoned refuses or fails to appear as a witness, the coroner may issue a warrant ordering a peace officer to arrest or detain him.
The person so arrested shall without delay appear before the person who issued the warrant of arrest, a full-time coroner or a judge of the Court of Québec.
